In the ever changing world of entrepreneurship and innovation, staying ahead of the curve is essential for businesses seeking to thrive. On the evening of August 29, the vibrant business community of Eugene is invited to gather at Ninkasi’s Better Living Room for the summer edition of “Business on Tap,” an event designed to equip local entrepreneurs, founders, and other business owners with a thought provoking discussion of disruptive technologies while fostering valuable networking opportunities.

Hosted by Onward Eugene, the economic development arm of the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce, Business on Tap has quickly gained recognition as a fun and exciting addition to the local business calendar. The quarterly event is tailored to empower business professionals by imparting knowledge on pertinent topics and creating a platform for meaningful connections.

Scheduled from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., this summer’s event promises an engaging exploration of the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) within the business landscape. The $15 admission grants attendees access to a spread of delicious snacks and a drink token to be exchanged for one of Ninkasi’s signature beverages, setting the stage for an evening of intellectual exploration and casual camaraderie.

The event will commence with an illuminating pitch presentation by ChangeFinder, a strong example of a company that has harnessed the capabilities of AI to revolutionize the grant writing process. ChangeFinder Co-Founder, Ian Winbrock, adds a personal touch to the proceedings. A graduate of Onward Eugene’s business accelerator class, EUG Launchpad, his journey epitomizes the event’s ethos of propelling local talent towards innovation and success.

Following the pitch is an engaging panel discussion, bringing together luminaries from various corners of the tech and business realm. Representatives from Palo Alto Software, Ability, and ChangeFinder will collectively deliberate on the dynamic intersection of AI and local businesses. The evening will conclude with a networking hour. These informal interactions often spark unexpected collaborations and insights, making Business on Tap a must-attend event for anyone seeking to expand their professional horizons.

In partnership with Technology Association of Oregon and sponsored by Turrell Group and Hershner Hunter, Business on Tap has already established a reputation for excellence. With the spring edition having sold out, it is advisable to secure your spot for the summer event at the earliest possible opportunity.
